Jun 10, 2018 I understand the value it has but it's hard for me to listen to any album of that time, like I f---s with Public Enemy and appreciate the impact it had but would I listen to it on my free time let alone blast it in the whip with some friends? h--- no
Jun 10, 2018 Definitely biggie. I mean 50 cent first album was better and he had more hits. 50 cent > biggie.. yeah I said it.
Jun 10, 2018 To answer OP, I'd say Big L. My brudda @Winter already summed it up perfectly, while I enjoy listening to him myself I can't rank his solo work with the more expansive and fully fleshed careers that his contemporaries have made. It's not his fault but it's what it is, plus I truly do feel Cam'ron the greatest rapper to ever come out of Harlem
Jun 10, 2018 overrated "goats" who don't deserve the title imo: Eminem, big boi, jeezy, TI, juicy J, scarface, and ofc j cole
Jun 10, 2018 I feel he's hideously overlooked; solid discography, stylistic influence on fashion and the way people rhyme with heavy metaphors and schemes. Purple Haze has some of the most colorful rapping I've ever listened to
Jun 10, 2018 theyre all washed. especially jeezy and juicy j. TI was nice on the kanye song but he has like one classic album tho not GOAT if you ask me
Jun 10, 2018 Eminem also not a goat tho so. but I gotta think paper trail is a classic and what else? maybe king? he doesn't have the discog for me
