Jan 21, 2017 Cosign. Honestly not a huge fan of S1. Started to get more funny with Lew Ashby in S2. Season 5 is also hilarious mostly because of Bates & Stu Beggs. 4 is nice, that ending was perfect. 6 and 7 are meh.
Jan 21, 2017 Agreed with all this except ur opinion on season 1 I love season 1 mainly cuz the squirter episode might the most ridiculous yet hilarious episode ive ever seen
Jan 22, 2017 Hard to narrow it down to just one, but here goes. Movie Character - Anton Chigurgh Why? Cause he's a f---ing beast. He's cold as f---. He kills pretty much anyone who stands in his way, even the people who pay him when he sees them disrupting his chance of completing his designated task. He's my favorite villain - to the point that he actually jumps up to favorite character. The bad guy who not only outlives the good guys, but kills their wives just because he gave them their word that he would do it before they died, and lives through the whole movie. He's so calculated. The most humane thing he does, is give his intended victims the option to decide their fate via coin flip - in his mind, this is as fair as it gets. Television Character - Walter White I know. It seems like I'm heavily drawn towards evil pieces of s---, but that's not the case. I admire the evolution of this character. Or perhaps, the lack of it entirely. From Pilot to Finale, Walter White is portrayed as a miserable underachiever, forced to break the law to provide for his family once he dies of lung cancer (despite never smoking), and seems simple enough to relate to... But he's much more than that. Beneath the surface lies a vindictive man, filled with repressed rage, ambition, and a ruthlessness towards anyone who opposes him. He frequently manipulates his business partner Jesse, mentally and emotionally, into believing he needs Walt to survive. He does the same to his brother in law to string him along while abusing his access to Hank's work life in the DEA to avoid capture, right under his nose. He eliminates enemies via totally apathetic methods (bombing nursing homes, murdering them as they prepare to leave the life behind them, or even methodically executing prison inmates to avoid being identified.) Walter White is the greatest TV character to me, for following such a dark path, and committing vile atrocities along the way (standing aside as a girl chokes to death on her own vomit or poisoning a small child to sway Jesse's allegiance) and even as I question his motives, and morals, I find myself consistently rooting for him to succeed, and find whatever happy ending that possibly fits him, while knowing that this man will eventually receive his comeuppance. The one who f---ing knocks.
