    my time to shine folks

    - no one. literally no one took those tracks and put out like fucken koolo did. legendary (not gonna jump on group buy and that other s--- thats been happening now cus its lul)
    - most authentic in terms of reviews, analysis (see that darkness lyrics analysis f---ing legendary again), opinions
    - always trying to be better (trust me on this because people actually put efforts in keeping this forum alive)


    - if eminem were to drop some music tonight this place is my go to f--- everything

    There’s quite a few that have been hopping back & forth, mainly because the discourse on here is more active albeit sometimes a bit disconcerted in the Eminem section. I mean they’re both Eminem forums in theory let’s be honest. I’m not sure if the members wanna be outed but if any of you read this & don’t mind identifying yourselves then let them know lol

    It does take awhile to adjust to how people converse in different forums, it felt a bit disingenuous to post on each one simultaneously & I originally found S80 slightly alienating based on most subject matter outside of the Eminem threads to be different from my general tastes, but the more I stuck around & engaged the more I came to like the place & the members plus I like to think my input can only add to the conversation even if it’s not always agreed on.

    You can block the entire eminem section through settings. Makes the forum 80% better.

    It would be great to get more active users and discussions going. I think it can do. I mean you came on here just to make this post when you could contribute to other posts. We just need more users willing to be active a more frequently

    great points. loving the number of members not only irl successful/stable, but there's got bona fide writers contributing to some of the best culture sites on the web. it speaks to the quality here we've fostered so many members to use this place as a launching pad.

    Just a fun forum/coomunity, that's why. Been heavily active in the Eminem SXN since maybe 2016 and it's a place to be whenever Em is about to drop music. Anticipating albums here is fun and some people also provide useful info. about it.

    Yeah I mean activity is what matters most not so much the amount of users imo. Ofc it matters too but too many posters ruins what makes s80 stand out -again, imo-

    I preferred The Shelter tbh & that’s where I originated from. It was a good community & my favourite site layout by far. But recently started decreasing in top members & overall traffic & the lack of moderation was running it into the ground too.

    This is why a couple of us have migrated over here & it’s taken me awhile to gravitate towards the community here but I think this is my new home.
