    He is talented and well thought out but he's extremely overrated and brings nothing new to music. Very generic and has an old school mindset. Would never go out of my way to listen to his music again.

    he’s ok. but as an artist, he doesn’t really stand out as a special rapper. He’s like a run of the mill rapper. Fits right in with the majority of rappers nowadays

    Still, imo, one of the best storytellers in rap. Maybe his music can just relate to me at a different level, idk. Nostalgia is a huge factor for me too though. The Come Up, The Warm Up, and FNL are all classics imo. That's like my entire middle school years.

    i don't hate him but he's so boring to me. he's got a few cool songs here and there but I just dont see the hype at all.

    He's cited as one of the best rappers doing it today (and since the 90's) and so many great rappers from that era feel that way. Then there's the other side saying he's very average or trash.

    He's easily digestible and in a world where old heads can't get behind "mumble rap" he's a wet dream (could be a J Cole lyric!) but he's average to me
