Dec 30, 2016 i just don't get it, and i see people bandwagon opinions on here all the time, but what exactly is wrong with this song. people say cheesy and this and that but please provide some line that you think are cheesy, i think it's a well crafted song. hook is great, verses are good, and the sampling is phenomenal. not saying this is one of the best em songs but i think it belongs in the conversation as the top tier of relapse.

Dec 30, 2016 it's fucken gay. some malnourished stick insect junkie c---- is telling me to not let people say I'm not beautiful? like what is the purpose? is it meant to be "uplifting"? it is very high school angsty teenage fa---- tier sounding to me and honestly, if a drug junkie who OD'd and nearly died a week beforehand came up to speak to you tryna spread some message of "your beautiful man" you'd tell them to f--- off or feel uneasy and awkward while they're around. examples of cheesy lines -they can all get f----- stay true to you -I don't need no f---ing man servant Trying to follow me around and wipe my a--- Laugh at every single joke I crack And half of them ain't even funny like "Ha!, Marshall you're so funny man, you should be a comedian, God d---" Unfortunately I am, but I just hide behind the tears of a clown -the entire hook actually -Nobody asked for life to deal us With these bs hands we're dealt We gotta take these cards ourselves And flip them, don't expect no help Now I could have either just Sat on my a--- and pissed and moaned Or take this situation in which I'm placed in And get up and get my own (f---, never heard a rapper say go out and get yours before) like just who even cares. people don't appreciate the song cause some of us are adults that don't need a drug junkie to tell us this "motivational" s---.

Dec 30, 2016 Especially given the period he was in and climbing out of when it was written, it's an amazing song. Vintage eminem, but by 2008/9 vintage eminem no longer fit in with current rap style. If 2000-2004 eminem releases the exact song everyone loves it.. apparently trying at all anymore with rap is cringe or corny.

Jan 1, 2017 To me, it's boring and lacks the lyricism he's know for. It's very unlike Eminem. It's also just a bad song, with bad structure, a boring beat and a message nobody wanted to hear from him. Don't let em say you ain't beautiful? f--- man, i'm a man I don't have to be beautiful. I might need a hug, I might need love. But nobody has to tell me i'm beautiful man, not even f---ing Eminem. And worst of all, it breaks the f---ing theme of the album. It just shouldn't be on there, like at all!! I mean like, what is the logic in this.. going from i'm done with rap to i'm a tough act to follow in a couple of sentences. He used to stretch this s--- out, fill it up with multi's, metaphors, interal rhymes and top it of with a great rhyme scheme. This is just spilling out some bs of the top of his mind. But I just can't admit or come to grips With the fact that I may be done with rap I need a new outlet And I know some s---'s so hard to swallow But I just can't sit back and wallow In my own sorrow, but I know one fact: I'll be one tough act to follow One tough act to follow I'll be one tough act to follow Here today, gone tomorrow But you'd have to walk a thousand miles… This screams to me that he just plain and simply didn't know where to go with it after he'd written " can't sit back and wallow" and just went like.. hmm.. I don't know what words to use, so let me just rhyme wallow with follow 3 f---ing times, throw in a random " here today, gone tomorrow" and end it with a sentence that doesn't even rhyme so I can at least get back to the hook or else the hook won't make any sense. This is really one of worst songs ever. At least Fack stuck to the f---ing concept.

Listen to the tale I'm about to tell h---, we don't gotta trade our shoes And you ain't gotta walk no thousand miles… Let's go from '"hide behind the tears of a clown", to announcing we have to sit down for the story he's about to tell. In the middle of the 2nd verse when the song is almost done. This is Eminem going: "f---, I need to get back to talking about trading shoes and what not because I wrote a f---ing hook about walking in my shoes" . Very uncreative.
