Mar 17, 2016 Since were not just a rap forum why not add a rock section? i'm sure it would be as active as like the gaming sxn for example. Theres tons of users on here who talk about rock like @Soldier @Charlie @JG2 @Bleed @Cyreides and a s--- ton more I feel like we would have way more rock discussion if there was a section for it. This would actually get me to post outside of OT. There should at least be a sticky for it in the music sxn like we do for NSFW. in OT. @Help can you consider this ?
Mar 17, 2016 Why don't we have a _____ SXN? This question has been answered many times. Start an official thread, and if it's active enough you have a case for a section. As it stands, most rock discussion is scattered and inconsistent. Threads always die. You're happy to try yourself.

Mar 17, 2016 Cyreides and many others petitioned for the renaming of Music to Hip-Hop and for there to be a sub-section named Other Music just a few months ago. As it stands staff (majority) aren't for it.

Mar 17, 2016 well it seemed to be because subsections always fail and the already existing rock thread gets no activity. but how are we supposed to get an official rock/other genres thread poppin if it gets buried under all the rap threads being made daily
Mar 17, 2016 i kinda don't even see sectioneighty as a music forum even though the common interest we all have is rap music the "music, sports, culture" approach is more the direction i think we represent cause we have a variety of different users we bigga than rap
Mar 17, 2016 Threads get buried because they aren't active enough or cared about enough to get bumped. @YoungDirtyBastard The most practical and least controversial option is to make a @RockSXN group and use that tag whenever somebody makes a thread. Shut up, p----.
Mar 17, 2016 Even an other genres prefix/tag for threads would be good because then we could sort out threads easier that way. We have tags like [New] [Throwback] etc so why not Other Genres or [Non-Hip Hop]?
Mar 17, 2016 are you not reading my posts? I explained why they get no activity. People who like rock dont bother going in the music sxn because they know that all they will see is rap. I agree we should have a usergroup
