    quite frankly i'm tired of the fat, fused to his chair, movie-watching computer geek
    he needs a break from the internet and learn what outside looks like

    it's been over a year and i've never seen him take a day off

    lmao @ the idea of a "mega thread" or user group for a genre as broad as rock, or to go even further, non-hip hop. no ones going to join it because everyones heard the chili peppers before and isnt going to want a tag for every time someone discovers Bleach by nirvana. theres literally no reason for a subsection not to exist. they're not even visible when you're in the actual section itself.

    A rock section or subsection would be cool, I'd have no interest in a user group or whatever they're called though.

    Maybe if we promoted it right and put a banner up for big new rock albums like we do rap albums then maybe we'd get a new crowd in here.

    *edit* Actually I think making it a section for all music besides rap would be a better choice long term.

    Didn't read anything but the OP but there's literally no excuse as to why there isn't a rock section at all. Because rap has been keeping this forum alive and growing lately right? Why not branch out and try to get more people who don't listen to just one genre. Don't let this place be so limited and let it grow. I wouldn't be surprised if someone said "make a thread and if it's active we'll do it" because every other section besides the Eminem section and OT are extremely active right?
