Mar 18, 2016 Indie/Rock R&B/Pop We need these 2 subsections in music. Wouldn't do any harm at all tbh. @Koolo
Mar 18, 2016 What's the harm though? Try it out. Literally nothing to lose. If it's not active it still gives people a chance to discuss non-hip hop music. Those threads usually get lost in the music section.
Mar 18, 2016 i hate the term rock so much i mean its technically correct but i just hate it so much that something like the doors is technically the same genre as something like corpsefucking art
Mar 18, 2016 I liked the idea of changing "Music" to "Hip-Hop" and then adding an "Other Music" subforum
Mar 18, 2016 I forgot that it'd be bad for SEO purposes. But having a rock subforum just leads to wanting other subforums, when instead "Other music" would cover the rest.
Mar 18, 2016 granted i know next to nothing about SEO, but how would changing music to hip hop be a problem for it? if anything, wouldn't two more specific titles be better for SEO?
Mar 18, 2016 just sticky a rock thread, an edm thread, and other music thread or whatever in music, make the appropriate sxn tags for people to join in music, and call it a day
Mar 18, 2016 This is similar to people asking for an artist section. Agree with @Narsh tho. If it gets really big in the future you can create a section
Mar 18, 2016 Really hate the sxn tags idea, like theg said I don't wanna get mentioned every time someone discovers something new or makes a post related to rock. Plus one thread is too long/annoying for someone to read through, there could be something a poster's really interested in talking about on page 20 or whatever of that thread but it's already up to page 50+ and that person will never see it. Don't tell me they can just search for it cuz 1. are they supposed to just randomly search for everything they may want to discuss? and 2. There may be something new there they don't know of and that person would end up liking or being interested in. Has anyone who actually wants another music section been in favor of the section tags and 1 sticky thread idea?
