Why is Wale so overhated?

    It's hysterical, and it's mainly on Twitter. I don't understand. The guy is a solid lyricists with deep verses. It seems like only Twitter hates the dude.

    yea he is actually good. to me though he has the same flow on every song so his music gets stale

    I don't dislike him..... but I don't play him either. His last album put me to sleep literally every time I tried to listen from start to finish through the whole thing.

    I don't hate him, I just don't want to listen to him.
    Also thought his name was pronounced as "Whale" for some reason a year ago.

    I listened to the two projects you mentioned, but I can't remember anything about it.
    The only song of his I still have on my phone is Ambition, though that's mostly just because of Meek and Rick Ross.

    I liked, or should I say tried to force myself to like wale years ago. While there isn't anything inherently wrong with what he does, he's so f---ing boring that I cant stand him. I'd rather listen to fat Joe breathe heavily as he works out.
