    Definitely true. Drake is hostin the awards show too.

    I would like this if they took into account the post season for the award, but they're still just basing it off of the regular season.

    Kobe didn't even win player of the month the month he dropped 8 or 9 or whatever it was straight 40+ point games, he also didn't win MVP in 05 when he was killing it and his team was 7th place.

    Russ probably isn't gonna win either, some said the Rockets wouldn't even make the playoffs this year and they're a top 3 seed...Harden deserves it, wouldn't be mad at Russ getting it either but it just probably isn't gonna happen, individual accomplishments don't mean much if the team's not getting it done.

    Also stop with this 'Harden doesn't deserve it cuz he sucks on D' stuff, Westbrook is almost definitely a worse defender this year than Harden.

    It actually does though. As fans of basketball we don't discount MJ's clutch factor.

    So why should we discount Russ's clutch factor in the MVP factor? That's my main point. I might not have gotten that across as well. But I'm essentially saying, we have to consider his clutch factor as the standout between him and Harden considering their numbers are both so crazy.

    Not to mention Jordan himself said Russ is a younger version of himself. Sooooo is Jordan wrong ???

    Difference is Jordan put up insane numbers on a championship team. Russ will never come close to averages like this on a true contender, the only reason he's putting these numbers up is because there isn't another all star on the team.
