Oct 28, 2015 Recovery was and still is his best work since 8 Mile. The content on it is phenomenal. He actually had something to talk about on this album for the first time since TES, and he addressed a ton of personal issues on it. Not to mention just technical and skill wise he finally returned to form after the major disappointments of Encore and Relapse. I think people hate on it because it's very different from Eminem's other albums. The punchlines, the positive attitude, and working with outside producers and features that might be considered "poppy"
