Jul 1, 2018 Vinyls seem interesting, i might get into it Not everyone lives in the US, not all artists do EU shows on a good basis
Jul 1, 2018 Plural is vinyl .-. I have a pro-ject debut carbon and still never play the s----s like I thought I would when I shelled out $400 for it it's basically decoration cause stores tryna play me with their offers of buying it but I still love collecting the records and owning limited releases / special editions
Jul 1, 2018 The one thing I miss is when an album dropped without a leak and you went to the store to pick it up.... hearing it for the first time... no better feeling
Jul 1, 2018 But do you have Blonde which was only available for purchase one day and now resales for $400+ for the one record
Jul 1, 2018 Owning the big picture record of your favorite albums is one of the best feelings in the world
Jul 1, 2018 Stop this political bs, we're talking about music now. Also agree w @Big Dangerous we can get everything no need to wait on streaming services
Jul 1, 2018 some interesting points are made. I still like to download full projects and kind of own them (plus im lazy to have spotify in my phone, pay extra internet etc) I also feel like streaming services kind of mix so much music that the artists lose their identity. Some people just create a collection of random songs (at least in the case of casual music listeners) and dont even know who sings what.
Jul 1, 2018 This. I've been thinking about quitting spotify for the exact same reasons you said. Like you pretty much don't even own the music , and when you're a free user , you can't even play the song you want! All you have is shuffle that most of the times doesn't even play the artist u chose to play. Great thread By the way
