Apr 19, 2016 Be able to so easily fit into urban hood culture where he has fans from the hood, is popular in the black community, he sometimes raps about street content even though he is not from the hood, never lived a street lifestyle, never grew up in the struggle or poverty. Even after P Diddy beat him and he never fought back which was no surprise. People from the hood weren't like this guy's a p---- Is it because he isn't awkward? because he doesn't have an association of having teenage white girl fans?
Apr 19, 2016 If we are honest he is fake as f--- as a person. He rides every wave and steals lyrics and flows from underground toronto MCs. But I listen to him 24/7 his music is just good i don't even know man.
Apr 19, 2016 I don't think his music is that good to that extent. He can rap and he's a lyricist yes, he can't sing but somehow his attempt at it he made it work even though he can't sing I would say it is because he is not awkward
Apr 19, 2016 he is white as f--- tho. In Interviews and in his acting videos. Don't get the hood love. But who can answer this question here. hood guys don't write in forums.
Apr 19, 2016 I'm from the hood believe me in the hoods here from Harlesden to Peckham people f--- with Drakes music
Apr 19, 2016 Rapper yes but singer h--- no but that's my opinion but that's the general consensus anyway Also when i say he is a good rapper i'm not saying he just gets lyrical and sacrifices everything else tries to be too lyrical he has a good balance of being lyrical but sticking to the theme of love songs having a message but executing the message in a lyrical way but not too lyrical
Apr 19, 2016 People just liked his music. It doesn't matter where you're from or how you were brought up if you can get people to enjoy what you put out.
Apr 19, 2016 But Drake is not Jamaican or grew up in the hood Why use a Jamaican slang if u are a half Jewish guy from an upper class family raised in the suburbs?
Apr 19, 2016 Come to London bruddah we got the best Haze But shout out Manny i know Moss Side get busy
Apr 19, 2016 If you want to use that logic, then nobody who isn't black, outside of US ghettos can make rap music.
