His album sold extremely well but I feel like a lot of people are recently getting turned off by Cole outside of his fanbase and he might stop popping up in NS top 5 lists as frequently and might become a bit of a joke in the online rap world. What do you think? This is all depending on what directions he takes his future albums and career in of course.

He has the same fan base as Kendrick; people who think they're intelligent for listening to him. It eventually wears thin. I don't really see him as relevant tbh. I'm surprised by how much he sells because I really don't see him as relevant at all.

Cole seems 2 be taken less serious than Kenny tho, Kenny is mentioned a lot more by hip hop heads and praised by everyone and represented everywhere in the media even in Australia. Kenny will be known for sure in 5 years even if he falls off. But Coles situation is different with all those factors, my step dad loves Kenny but hates Cole.

His fan base is to strong its already 2017 all he's gotta do is lay low act like he's working on his magnus opus drop it in 2019 and that'll carry him through into the next decade

Cole selling this much without promoting videos and singles on the radio. When he starts touring and actually marketing he will be even bigger.
Even though his current marketing strategy works, lay low, make them hungry for more.

You do realize 2020 is only 4 years away? How exactly will Cole not be relevant? It's rappers selling less than Cole and they relevant... I don't even think y'all n----s think before y'all say stupid a--- s---. Do you know what relevant means? Lol . And lol at the online rap world. Who gives af. Drake hated on the online rap world, but we all know what it really is. Like I said before, the only ppl who hate on Cole are Kanye stans. and I have spotify. sometimes i like to look at rappers numbers on spotify to see just how big they are.

right now cole has 14,000,000 monthly listeners, 2,000,000 followers and is ranked #41 in the world. you telling me Cole is going to go from that to irrelevant in just 3 years? even if Cole never has another platinum album ever (which he will) he'll at the most go gold every release, he has a big enough fan base for that.
