    Em's last two projects flopped harder than Animal Ambition and Animal Ambition wasn't even released like any normal album so saying 50 is irrelevant is dumb. To be irrelevant no media outlets, radio wont play your songs etc... 50 is still very much relevant.



    Em can come back, for sure.... he needs to double layer that nasty voice he is using atm, switch flows because this stop and start, choppy style is just terrible and he needs to stop cramming his lyrics with so many f---ing syllables. New content wouldn't go amiss either :uzi: maybe a 2016 gangster Eminem, rapping about pimping out his daughters and juggling shots of crack would see Eminem return to number 1 on the charts.... jk :happypepe:

    this tape + working with producers like London have catapulted him into being able to do features for currently relevant artists, as of recent, YG (I Wanna Benz). I think it'll be a good year for him.

    if you didn't like kanan type then I can't help you lol songs like I'm The Man, Too Rich, n----- n-----, body bags and the post malone song are all solid jawns

    By last 2 projects do you mean the label compilation and movie soundtrack by any chance? Hardly a fair comparison. Without looking, I'm sure Southpaw OST sold a lot more than any other mediocre movie soundtracks that year.

    Agreed on the last part, though I don't have faith.

    Should have gotten to know me better I guess.
    Free music does tend to be popular. I remember back in '09 when War Angel reportedly did great numbers, then no-one went out and bought BISD.

    Of course I never said that. I said i don't know anyone outside of this board who listened to it.

    I seem to have hurt some feelings here. Doesn't shock me that it's OP and a guy with a 50 Cent avi.

    Well BISD is now Platinum, worldwide. It's Gold in the U.S and i think it sold 168k f/w so it wasn't a flop. AA would have sold around 100k f/w if he had released it properly but i bet if you clocked all of the singles and actual album sales that it sold pretty well. If you compared Em's soundtrack (Southpaw) to soundtracks like Compton, Fast Furious and Frozen it flopped pretty hard, i'm not sure on that though but i think all 3 of those projects done better. He needs to appeal to this generation a whole lot more and i don't think beats alone would do that.

    I know what they sold n-----, for Eminem that would be considered a massive flop and AA wasn't released like any normal album.

    Yh i didn't say it wasn't although i do think it would have sold more if released like any normal album... Fif said before dropping anything from AA that it was a mixtape but he was releasing it as an album to fulfil his contract with Interscope.

    How invested are you in finding out what anyone outside of this board listens to?

    All of my friends had heard the new 50 tape or at least a part of it before I had a chance to tell them how dope it was. 50 has one of the largest social media presences in rap plus a following of casuals that has been building up for a decade.
