I don't know if you guys saw the Complex 50 Most Anticipated Albums of 2016, but their write up on Eminem (number 10) is pretty spot on.

As usual, there is no information on the album and he can go so many different directions. It's exciting, but also somewhat worrisome because we have no idea what to expect and every album has been unique in sound and content. I'm hopeful because in the recent Time interview he acknowledged the flows/different styles he experiments with aren't always great.

Production is lower on the ladder of my concerns, although there is definitely room for improvement there. He has infinite production to choose from. My hope is he gets back to basics, slows down the flow, works on delivery (no accents/yelling), and focuses on songwriting. Aim for making songs that actually sound good instead of the technical/choppy/fast raps he himself and a select group find impressive. Bad Guy is evidence he still has strong songwriting ability and Evil Twin/Fine Line show he can still put together great sounding songs. I'm anxious to see what happens.

Not sure if my post has anything to do with OP, went off on a tangent there...

I'm am maybe 95.2% Em listened to the mixtape and I really hope he takes notes. Em needs to know its okay to step out of that comfort zone to try something new, and surely he knows his recent stuff and how he works is getting stale real fast. I am thinking out loud here but I think he should release different singles not involved with the album with different styles and experiment a little.

    :lmaooo:

I guarantee you recovery was only relevant amongst 12-16 year old children

because 50 decided to get a London on da track stimulus, it's helps him among the relevant youth of today that enjoy to that style of production
