d--- is f---in' classic. Some of those critics just like boring and hard to sit thru type of albums. d--- is fire. I like it more than any other Kendrick project.

n----s are wild. Because you didn't like a well executed album from an artist they now have to recover. This album was received by the mainstream audience the best out of any Kendrick album, and because of it people will say he fell off. Backwards thinking. A lot of people who say TPAB is trash say d--- is excellent and vice-versa. He is pleasing a wider audience with his latest release. Also, how can you recover from your biggest success just cuz a minority of fans don't appreciate it.

Personally prefer TPAB by far to his other projects, musically better and love the jazz/soul influence. I also like his other projects though.

How does one recover from dropping the best album of 2017?

Still trying to figure that out.

Kenny been dropping non-stop classics since Section Eighty. S80>GKMC>TPAB>d--- are all classic.
If you haven't listened to at least 3 of them, your opinion of hip-hop is automatically invalidated..
