I can give advice and you'd all have better lives... but you are too proud and spiteful. It's cool though... you guys are nerds and have great insight into popular culture.... so, I'll keep reading the posts to keep up on things that I'm not really intrested in, but can pull off as an expert when a situation calls for it. s---... I barely listen to rap... but I have the same knowledge as WPG just because I've read his posts here... so when I meet SLUG and Lupe Fiasco and A$AP Ferg when I'm helping put on block parties.... they think I'm f---ing Nardwuar with crazy in depth knowledge and research. And that girl isn't a "mail order bride" she just happened to be one of the few people I met in Tokyo who spoke English... she walked me to the train when she saw that I was lost and we both happened to have trips planned to go to Florida in February of 2020... so we pinky promised to spend time together when we were there. Stay mad. All of you. I don't have a single hater in real life and I'm not really online so I need you guys.

Mar 30, 2022 Just to be clear; my life is pretty great in almost every aspect and I don't need advice from anyone. But I don't feel the need to brag about it on here. Also knowing things about slug or lupe fiasco is not important at all. Who cares (except if you're working in that world like wpg does). I was joking about that girl obviously... but not about the fact that u felt the need to post her picture. Its not like u are a 16 year old, ur in your 30's ? Which is fine but why brag to a bunch of teenagers about it..?
Mar 30, 2022 Apply to be a banquet server at every hotel and convention center in the Silicon Valley. Especially at hotels owned by Millennium Group and Marriott. They pay the highest banquet share (DM me if you want me to explain what a banquet share is)... it's an on call position that doesn't take any real skill and the pay usually comes out around $40 to $50 an hour... but it isn't steady unless you are working at multiple places. Every time you go to work it, it's literally a party. It's like therapy to be surrounded by happy people having the best time they've had in months... every time you go to your job. Banquets and conventions are backlogged because of the pandemic so they desperately need people. Get your alcohol handlers card (TIPs, TAM, TAPs... whatever they have there). At the same time you are doing that go to any of the dozen bartending schools in the Bay Area.... sometimes they give you an alcohol handlers card for free. After you get your bartending certificate tell the companies you are banquet serving for you want to be a banquet bartender. I make an average of $500 a night and up to $1,500 on my best nights banquet bartending... and since you are a temporary worker... you are not obligated to report your cash tips.
Mar 30, 2022 I work with musicians. It's also just good to know popular culture in general... even if it's not a great intrest to you... it helps in social settings. You ever meet someone who says "I just don't like music... I'm not into it."? That makes their life harder because it's harder for them to connect to people. Basically I love all music... even the music I don't listen to... this makes it easier to connect to people. Also... there isn't any teenagers on this board. Eminem is 50. Teenagers don't know how to use a browser... only apps. There is no way a teenager would find this forum.

Mar 30, 2022 This is also Fight Club praxis. When you work banquets you have access to politicians and obscure societies... US Senators and Representives and the Governor are happy to see me and comfortable around me when I'm serving them drinks or leading them from one end of a building to the next. Also you can get chummy with company owners and managers when they are out having the time of their lives.
