    word i can see the comparison. the two of them also had the best projects in the genre in 2015 as well.

    Well I mean like, I can only listen to a sound about losing your virginity so many times :idk: If the subject matter was a bit more mature I probably would've listened to the song a lot more.

    It wasn't a bad song, that's not what I'm saying.

    I don't understand how an album's score published in one of the most respected magazines can be given by an individual... it would be more fair to ask every writer from the same publication to give a score and then just make an average

    Still gotta check out Miguel's, loved Kaleidoscope dream though. It's a shame how overlooked Late Nights has been.

    Miguel's album is kind of weird, it's not like Kaleidoscope Dream (which is close to perfect imo).

    You might not like it, but def give it a chance. Here's a dope remix for one of his singles with GOAT Breezy and Future. This song is more similar to KD than some of the other joints:

    I know the feeling. I got one of my cousins into it but eventually he went back to Trapsoul.
    This is dope. Every once in awhile Breezy will give us something that resembles his pre-smack down days. Guy could've been one of the r'n'b GOATs.

    The best part about Wet Dreamz is that he sample the same song Game sampled on Like Father, Like Son



    The production on FHD was really good. Cole is a nice producer.

    I didn't like your prose, which is usually where you excel. The writing seems too formulaic. It seemed like you just followed the "Name a song, describe it, review it" pattern. You're a great writer, and I agree with your opinion here, but I felt it could have been written a little sharper.

    a) i'm not sure you know how pitchfork assigns scores
    b) good luck implementing your system. they publish, what, five reviews a day, five days a week? there's no way an entire editorial staff is going to give thorough listens and scores to five-plus new albums every day. they wouldn't have time to do anything else.
