I’m disappointed Kenny dropped the belt. This definitely puts his future in question considering he now is 0-2 in WK main events and with the announcement of AEW...idk, this could be it. Switchblade could be taking the belt off Tana and claiming the top gaijin spot

I just f---ing pray Kenny isn't in WWE. I'll actually be so g.d. upset seeing him there. While you could say AJ is fine over there. Its just not nearly as entertaining

Match of the night for me was either Okada/Switchblade or Omega/Tanahashi

Jericho/Naito and Ibushi/Ospreay were fantastic too

Lot of good s---, it was a great card

My thoughts on the matches as of now

    Ibushi vs Ospreay - 4.25

    Junior Heavyweight Tag - 3.0

    ZSJ vs Ishii - 4.0

    Heavyweight Tag - 3.0

    Ishimori vs Kushida - 4.0

    Cody vs Juice - 2.0

    Okada vs White - 4.75

    Naito vs Jericho - 4.25

    Omega vs Tanahashi - 4.5

Overall, my gut says not as good as the past two wrestle kingdoms. A great card nonetheless, had potential to be more with the Kushida/ishimori under delivering and Cody/Juice being kind of trash

    I’m disappointed Omega didn’t win.

Okada and Jay white put together a remarkable and special emotional match imo, was a shock seeing Okada back to his classic self and then losing. Big moment

d--- if my roommate hadn't already dropped money on concert tickets for the same night I'd definitely be going to New Beginning in Nashville. I wonder what venue they'll hold it at

@NJPWBros Meltzer confirms WK is a 2 day event from 2020 onwards for the forseeable future. Ospreay is definitely making a move to heavyweight and might even be in the G1. The expectation is that going forward the NEVER title will be used for Juniors who want to move up as well as top talent that don't have much to do. Ospreay is rumored to be making a permanent move to Japan.

    Ospreay/Ibushi - 4.5
    Shingo/Bushi VS R3K vs Despy/Kanemaru - 3.5 (nothing on their last match)
    ZSJ/Ishii - 4
    Bucks vs Tongan's vs Sanada/Evil - 3.5
    Bone Soldier/Kushida - 3.75
Cody/Juice - 3.25 (far from bad, just no heat)
    Okada/Jay White - 4.25
    Jericho/Naito - 4.75
    Omega/Tanahashi - 5

Honestly, this card was too stacked. A majority of the card just didn't have the time to have the matches they should have had. Not the best show ever, but at the same time one of the easier shows I've ever had to watch.

Yeah the weird thing for me was how rushed the undercard matches were because they were trying to keep the show under 4 hours. I mean the G1 and Super Jr Finals were like 4.5 hours if I remember right (because of all the 8man tag matches), and the past few Dome Shows were 5+ so idk why they were in such a rush when this is the most important show of the year.

Ibushi/Ospreay and Ishii/Sabre were both great and between 4-4.25 stars for me but with an extra 8-10 min each they both would have been 5.

Every match on the card should have been 4.25+ and would have if they were main eventing individually. Another hour would have been perfect.
