May 21, 2017 They wouldn't give Ellsworth the title but they gave it to Jinder Mahal who was like 0-126727 before recently.....
May 21, 2017 It's happened twice now. Jack swagger won the world championship and he was a jobber as well
May 21, 2017 I miss 1 PPV and Jinder wins the title? Lmao.... god d---, WWE just going for shock value I guess. Didn't see or hear how it's done yet but wonder if he'll lose it possibly even on SD this week, otherwise maybe the next SD PPV?
May 22, 2017 I'm very interested how long they're gonna run with Jinder being champion. I have this feeling in the back of my head that he'll run into John Cena at Summerslam. They'll probably have the storyline of 'The American Hero' saving the day and gaining his 17th championship.
May 22, 2017 Well here's why Jinder apparently won... Meltzer also noted that the push of Jinder Mahal has nothing to do with TV ratings or live events in the United States but rather the marketing of Mahal in India. During his Backlash PPV promo, Mahal specifically mentioned 1.3 billion people living in India which is certainly a reference to WWE looking to expand into that market. I think they got a tour in India in the fall or something I heard, hard to believe they keep him as champ till then though.
