Mar 17, 2018 Making a generic rock song is still making a generic rock song regardless if you're known for hip hop. If some random released this album, or even someone like f---ing cudi you guys would s--- on it, but since you have hard on for something new and different like X you like it.

Mar 18, 2018 yeah i agree to an extent. the shortness of these songs really f---s me up. some of these deserve another verse or at least another repeat of the chorus/refrain.
Mar 18, 2018 see the problem is he has this idea that if he gives us a full length song we wont check for more music from him because he will have given us what we wanted. its a pretty genius but at the same time extremely r-----ed mindset. because while he pisses me off in the aspect that these songs are complete d-ck teases with their length and immense quality, im still bumping these glorified snippets like h--- and checking for his music. i feel like he's r-----ed af in thinking his music wouldnt attract attention if it was full length. in fact id argue it would bring him even more fans and attention tbh. and his whole "my message cannot be stretched" angle is really just a fancy way of saying that he doesnt have much to say. but then again, id rather have 2 minute songs with a clear and concise message than like a 4 minute song with a boring, forced, and stretched out message. all that aside though, i still enjoy this album for the most part. there are some trash tracks (Schizophrenia, Matt Ox collab joint, Hope, the f---ing intro) but outside that its actually produced and performed quite well. 7/10 album, def will be in rotation for quite some time, especially tracks like NUMB, Infinity, and Moonlight (my personal highlights)
Mar 18, 2018 Yea its definitely a pretty good album. Schizophrenia is some unprecedented s---. He really created a song from the perspective of a schizophrenic and made it a motivational song for those going through it. It may not sound great but I appreciate that he's doing things I haven't heard many rappers do before. I haven't heard a rapper speak for the mentally ill to this degree since Cudi Ngl when --- first blew up I didnt really like him cus he stole Uzis flow on Look at Me but with 17 and now ? he's shown himself to be one of the most talented and unique artists of his generation
