Mar 4, 2018 Will his final album be a Revival follow-up trying to patch up that stain on his catalog? Or will he do that and THEN 1 or 2 victoRELAPSE???? I remember on SL days after Recovery dropped most people felt like he'd do 3 more albums. Some still even say 2-3 more after MMLP2. Well we're at that point now. But I wonder if the consensus is still in line with previous predictions (guesses). I know this isn't a super creative or original thread but the forum is slow so I thought I'd throw it out there.
Mar 4, 2018 Whatever he does, he won't make it back into my top 10. At this point, his bad albums outweigh his good ones
Mar 4, 2018 I really hope he stays away from naming anything with RE — no Rebirth, Redemption or whatever people are predicting I’ve always said he’ll hit 10 albums before 50 & it’s looking very likely after the Chloraseptic Remix Honestly I reckon we’ll get one this year and then one more in like 4 years time & he’ll bow out with that one, having said everything he’s needed to say I just hope he goes back to straight hip-hop—none of this pop s---
Mar 5, 2018 I'd say maximum 2, minimum 1. He'll most probably leave if his next gets the acclaim that he has wanted since years.
Mar 5, 2018 Eminem should have an intensive and extensive work with Dre and get some beats from new respected producers like Young Metro, Mike Will Made It, and maybe get some beats from DJ Khaled, DJ Khalil again and maybe Kanye if he wants to save his career, that as a first point musically, and then he must collab with good hip hop artists like J Cole, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick, Kanye or legends like Jay Z, Nas and come back to work again with 50 Cent. Maybe I'd let him get only 1 song with Rihanna and maybe 2 with SZA, and if he's lazy for some hooks then The Weeknd, Drake, Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg.
Mar 5, 2018 I think now it's evident he only had 1 good album left in him and that could have been MMLP2. Even from the material which is known of... the s--- could have been a great-classic album. Totally f----- it up. But I think he spent himself so much on that project - he seemed exhausted after it, so I think he made Revival fast and tried to change his mindset a little or something, but it just came out a---. But ultimately both albums were f----- because he was trying to please people. He could have many more albums left in him skills wise... but his artistic vision is f-----. Lost.
Mar 5, 2018 He is going to rap until he is fossil fuel so my estimation is 5 more albums. Hoping for as many as possible though!
Mar 5, 2018 After listening to Chloraseptic Remix, we can say that he has garnered a lot of material to talk about, maybe that can bring a much needed direction to his next projects, also, if he could realise that quality triumphs quantity both in number of songs and lyrics, that'll be great. Or maybe he's gone too far with his distorted verson of his old self to never come back, this belief of mine solidified after Revival
Mar 5, 2018 I just called him up and asked. He said and I quote “I don’t know, man. I don’t even know what I’m doing tomorrow. I’m always in the studio you know what I’m saying?”
Mar 6, 2018 Seems like he already said what he's got to say on that verse. I can't see it being enough material to string out a whole album. What's he going to do - make 10 tracks about the critcisms of Revival?, that would be super lame. I think the verse just indicates he's stuck in this infinite loop of approval seeking and also in full narcissm mode. If he would just stop thinking he has to write about himself and his career then he wouldn't keep running out of things to talk about. But because he does, and he's let certain fans dictate that after Relapse... He has to scrape the bottom of the barrell, talk about years old s--- he's already covered time and time again; find endlessly (although inventive) ways to re-describe himself and his shady nastiness and bla bla bla, not to mention 10,000 invented relationships for the young ladies to lap up. He's a puppet to his imagined public. He has no vision of his own now. Seemingly nothing else to cover but himself and no balls to strike a direction - sonically and thematically and smash it, without worrying about if X Y Z will like it or if there's enough of this or that. He's f---ing lost it.
Mar 7, 2018 Revival left a bad taste in everyone's mouths, he needs to retire and stop ruining his legacy. not sure if another album will get him to where he was supposed to be.
