Feb 12, 2018 Honestly don't have much faith in this. Don't have faith that it will drop and even if it does, I don't have much faith in how it will sound. Mos and Talib are much different today than they were in the late 90s, being two broke, hungry kids out of Brooklyn. If the Reflection Eternal sequel is any indication, they can keep that.
Feb 27, 2018 I want this to be real so so SO much. When I read about this a few weeks back I nearly tipped out my chair, s--- came out of left field! However, I'm trying to temper my expectations that this will come out. Madlib, along with my boy Mos, have a long history of promising the world and never delivering on those promises. s---, Mos still has Negus in Natural Person and As Promised/OMFGOD to drop and we haven't heard s--- about the projects since his farewell tour. In short, I'm apprehensive but excited at the same time. God knows we need more Madliberator and Def Operator collab joints. Talib is just the cherry on top.
Mar 4, 2018 https://hiphopdx.com/news/id.46087/...on-album-announcement-was-news-to-talib-kweli "It looks like it might happen,” Kweli told HipHopDX. “I found out on the internet the same way y’all did. We’ve been talking about doing an album with Madlib for years. That’s been an idea we’ve had for so long, but for him to make that announcement … I didn’t know he was going to make the announcement. “He went to a Madlib show and he got hype. It’s not like we discussed it and said, ‘Ok, we’re going to announce it.’ I got off the plane, I landed and was like, ‘Oh ok.’ It’s an idea we have been discussing for a long time, now we just gotta make it happen.”
Mar 4, 2018 "Nope he said he’s only completed one verse so far lol this was it." well this s--- ain't coming out anytime soon.
