Aug 15, 2018 Yela blatantly pissed em off after he nearly f----- up his entire deal and got slung straight into a straight jacket after he lost one of his closest home boys. Yela went off the rails n s---. It conveniently co-incides with with exactly around about the time that em seemed to have forgotten all about yelas existence. Next thing you know.... they were using trail by fire to promote revival and that was the final disrespect for me. Maybe it was paul and not em that got pissed off. Wouldn't surprise me. Pauls a c----.
Aug 15, 2018 Em didn't ruin anyone and anything. Yelawolf before Shady Records was no one. Now he got 3 gold plaque status and it's a huge achieve considering his music genre (not many people cares about). He just is one of those artists who doesn't wanna sell his a--- and just do what they want to do.
Aug 15, 2018 Shady Records, historically, is a s--- label. Early on the Em association worked well for D12 and Obie but that didn't last. 50 had a strong buzz before signing with Shady/Aftermath so the signing helped boost his profile. But look at the graveyard of artists who were on Shady: Slaughterhouse, Cashis, Bobby Creekwater, Yelawolf, Stat Quo. Artists who either never released anything or they released subpar projects. Now Em's got a couple of Griselda artists and I'm doubtful they'll release anything under Shady. Westsidegunn taking concert footage of Em from the crowd- WTF type of s--- is that? He's Em's artist, he should have been onstage, doing a verse. Conway and West should have been on Revival. The good thing about them is that they're not waiting on Em, they're releasing their own projects without him. Em has never understood how to run a label. Shady's best run would probably be from 1999 to 2005, when artists could actually drop projects and make some money. It's been downhill for years and the label should be dismantled to be honest.
Aug 15, 2018 All they did for Yela was to throw him the odd throwaway Eminem verse. As far as I can tell Yelwolf really had to find his own path with limited guidance from the label, so things like forming his own relationships with producers etc. Bit of a shame but I'm hoping he can kick on from here having at least achieved some solid projects and a destinct sound to show for his time on the sh-- Shady Records label.
Aug 15, 2018 As big of an Em fan I am, this is so true. The Michael Jordan of the rap game. Goat at what they do, but can't run a team....I don't understand with as much as he loves hip hop. He could have stayed relevant during his hiatus's by running a successful label with features during that time and dropping classic albums every 4 years. It's not rocket science.
Aug 15, 2018 Did he say he released 5 albums on Shay Records? I know he's a hillbilly but I expect him to stop be able to count to 3.
Aug 15, 2018 very true he had to find is own way i think that helped him alot but also why he lost alot of marketing tho yelawolf had connections with Paul from three six and super hot beats so hes always had that background to get on if need be without label help
Aug 16, 2018 Next up I bet Em retiring next year after one last double disc album to annihilate Drake forever
Aug 16, 2018 Bruh Yela was well known before signing to shady. Pop the trunk, Trunk Muzik , Daddy's Lambo
Aug 16, 2018 the eminem bubble is undefeated for these ppl. They never look outside their little cult of following a guy who thinks bars about s--- is funny
Aug 16, 2018 He’s including Trunk Muzik Returns as #2. since it was under Shady for distribution back when it was being printed. And TM3 as #5
