Nov 3, 2021 well i obviously meant that he only had two finished albums while alive (and even Life After Death, was released after he died) but fair enough
Nov 4, 2021 Biggie is top 5 for me, but I wouldn’t call him the greatest. The combo of his pen game and flow together was pretty un matched in the 90s but a lot has changed since then.
Nov 4, 2021 I love Mac, but we've got 2 from him already and the 2nd one was unnecessary. Juice had the most future growth potential...he gets my vote
Nov 4, 2021 IMO, you should only get 1 post-humous album from any rapper. 1 and then done. Anything beyond that and it's not true to the artist's vision and craft, but instead becomes a scramble to slap together anything non-comprehensive that producers had laying around. Exception is if the artist had multiple albums in-process already.
Nov 4, 2021 oh wait is it meant like in a posthumous way or in a ' dead rapper comes alive again and drops a contemporary album' type of way? Because if it's the former I wouldn't choose 2Pac
Nov 5, 2021 Circles & Faces Circles was nearing completion as a follow-up to Swimming (“swimming in circles”)
Nov 5, 2021 Wow, I'm surprised. I always knew you're into dope hip-hop, but never knew you'll pick DOOM over Biggie etc. Now I love you more!
Nov 5, 2021 initially i would say mac but he gave us so much material in his time, juice i think who was so so young deserved to leave more art behind..death race for love was a classic honestly
Nov 5, 2021 juice was definitely dope for sure.all of them honestly. The majority of dead rappers are legends or had the potential to be one.
