    These are examples @Vahn @Deadpool @El Ares. From jets example these 3 aren't exactly 'trap' but the drums (or whatever it is) I hear them too d--- much lately, and not just with thug. Not saying anything about these songs in particular just jusing them as an example. Thanks deadpool for the explanation btw

    Well if you're talking 2015 then yes, but that's not anything recent.

    your just talking the 808s i mean thats just rap man u dont notice this in pop because pop focuses more on instrumental melody lines while rap focuses on the drums hitting harder

    let it be known MM doesn't like songs like With That & Best Friend because they sound too trap but has no issue with future who, using that same reasoning of "too much drums" is quite a bit worse than thug

    Guys I never said I dont like those songs (I even said that in that same post) I just looked for examples of those drums that sound similar to me. I dont mind them in general I just hear it too much.

    And Jet, let me set this straight I wasn't talking about thug in particular, future is the exact same. And same goes for other rappers. Thats why I like HNDRXX so much because of songs like Selfish/Incredible/Testify

    I prefer albums where almost every song has a completely different sound (which is one of the reasons I like kanye so much)
