I tend to stop pursuing them if they ignore me or turn me down right away, too. I usually don't keep trying. The reason I do this is because I never want women to think I'm a creeper or stalker.

However, a woman once told me that "persistence pays off". She said that "many women, especially young women, don't know what they want". But if you're persistent (in a non creeper way) often times the girl will eventually say "yes" to the guy because she admires your persistence.

So this one time me and my friend where at a bar and we started talking to these two girls I'm not really sure how it happened but I ended up telling the girl that i was talking to I don't buy girls drinks at clubs because they always just f--- off right after and she was like yeah that makes sense and we where talking for a bit and it was still going alright. Then my friend goes and buys the other chick a drink and they both f--- off. I was like man what have i told you about these b------s. they aint loyal

Was actually thinking this exactly im just in class rn and don't have much time to think/type.

You def gotta go out and get them yourself but if they turn me down right away or ignore me I stop there. You also gotta be careful about going to bars and picking up girls because a lot of them actually aren't single or have their boyfriend's there with them. One of my buddies grabbed a girl by the a--- and her boyfriend called him out in the bathroom and without even looking my friend just turned around and knocked his a--- out with one punch haha.

Yeah, that's very true. You have to try. You gotta be pro-active. I can't speak for other guys, but girls normally don't do the approaching--so for anything to happen--you gotta take action rather than sit back and wait for something to happen.

But I also think it's important to pick your spots--girls aren't always receptive of being approached.

The vast majority of this forum is made up of males, so I thought this would be an interesting question. How good are you guys at picking up women? In other words, how good are you at attracting women?

The reality is most guys in this world aren't good with women. In other words, they aren't good at attracting women. The guys who are good at it are few and far between. Most guys, when they see a woman they like, their confidence plummets. It's human nature. It gets easier the more times you do it, but it's still a very difficult thing to do.

I guess my question is: If you saw a girl for the first time (meaning a girl you DON'T already know) at a bar, or in class, or at work....and you wanted to get her interested in you/go out with you....how successful do you think you'd be? I don't know you guys from atom, but I'd bet that the majority of you would fail. Some of you would succeed, but most wouldn't.

So being completely honest, how good are you guys at picking up women?
