    So, what's your point, then? You said Kanye wouldn't admit he has writers, yet Kanye credits more than himself as a writer on every album.

    Rappers are writers. Any good writer has an editor and lets other people read their writing to make sure it's as good as it can possibly be. Nas, Jay, Ye, whoever—they all have people read and critique what they wrote. The difference is Kanye credits pretty much anyone who helped out, no matter how minuscule that contribution may be.

    To write whole songs or the majority of songs, you have to put the writers in the credits. My point was as a rapper Kanye shouldnt get much credit. Its the same as katy perry writing songs

    You dont get a wrtiting credit for reading.

    1. Where's your source that says he doesn't write most of his own songs?
    2. Critiquing is suggesting changes—if someone reads something he wrote and pitches a some new line or changes them around and Kanye ends up using them, why shouldn't they get a writing credit?
    3. Even if he didn't write most of his songs—which isn't true—he makes great music, so who cares. The "Kanye shouldn't get credit AS A RAPPER" argument is a bad one that gets used as a cop-out by people who don't have a real argument against him.

    Not whining just saying he's dre status in terms of actual rapping then got attacked by Kanye stans

    There all credible rappers what are you talking about except from Jon Connor but you probably dont know who he even is. Thats why i put him next to Kendrick

    I could start pulling up interviews but i dont have the time to find them all you can look for yourself if your interested.
    That is an argument against him i dont rate anyone who dont write there own stuff, im not discrediting him on producing although he has even started to slow up on that in recent years getting other people to do it for him.

    Yes, in that order. I know there's gonna be like 100 people who don't actually understand the concept of rap and think you have to have bars for days to even be in contention, but I factor in things like flow, beats, charisma, etc. into this.

    Keep in mind this isn't techinical list, this is my personal favorites

    Jon Connor's alright. Not a personal top 5 of mine, but he's decent. He needs to stop piggybacking, and go back to all his own original s--- though.
