Feb 19, 2015 Post yours, feel free to make it 10 players, 20, 50, 100 whatever. This was tough. Definitely a lot that could be switched/inter-changed. This site is pretty cool, you can put any players ever head to head statistically across the board. http://www.landofbasketball.com/ Honorable Mentions: Scottie Pippen, Allen Iverson, John Stockton 20. Charles Barkley 19. Kevin Garnett 18. John Havlicek 17.Bob Cousy 16. Julius Irving 15. Elgin Baylor 14.Moses Malone 13. Isiah Thomas 12.Karl Malone 11.Shaquille O'Neal 10. Oscar Robertson 9. LeBron James 8.Hakeem Olajuwon 7.Tim Duncan 6.Kobe Bryant 5.Magic Johnston 4. Larry Bird 3. Kareem 2. Bill Russell 1. Adam Morrison
Feb 24, 2015 1: Jordan 2: Kareem 3: Wilt (Could really fall anywhere between here and #10 comfortably) 4: Kobe 5a: Magic 5b: Bird 7: Duncan 8: Hakeem 9: Shaq 10: Russell
Feb 28, 2015 Top 5 in order Jordan Kobe LBJ Malone Hakeem 5-10 not in order Duncun Barkley Ewing Payton Drexler I dont ever rank players I didnt see play or remember much about watching them play.
Mar 10, 2015 Kobe Jordan LeBron Magic Duncan I haven't seen other players from later era's play in case if some of ya'll are wondering if I "missed someone." I watched a lot of throwback games on NBA TV when they had Magic's best games on or Jordan's. I saw Jordan play mostly when he was in the Wizards, not so much when he was in the Bulls since I was so young at the time. I'm not one of those dudes that call players "the best" & haven't even seen them play before. Those of ya'll that do that, please stop lol.
Mar 15, 2015 So you have a problem with someone recognizing talent, from an earlier era? The question is "All Time", why should anyone limit that to the last 15-20 years? That completely discredits the league to put any player currently in the league, not named Kobe or Duncan, on the list while ignoring Bird, Kareem, Wilt, etc.
Mar 15, 2015 Starting five would probably look something like.. PG Stockton SG Jordan SF Magic PF Duncan C Wilt
Mar 15, 2015 Why would you include someone you haven't seen play once in your life? I know Wilt, Oscar, West, Marivich, etc are great players from the stats I've seen & videos I've watched, but I'm not putting them on my list cause I never seen them play & I disagree with you. There is people that lived to see those players play obviously, so everyone's list is different.
Mar 15, 2015 Because the list is based off of our interpretations of "all time", not our opinions of what we saw in our lifetime. You admitted that you saw Jordan mostly with the Wizards, where he was nowhere near being the best player in the league, but you included him in your list. I know, throwback games...Of just Jordan, and Magic? No Bird, or no Magic in his younger years with Kareem? No Olajuwon? Malone? Stockton? Barkley? Do you think it's ridiculous for today's analysts to include Babe Ruth if they're talking about the greatest baseball players of all time? Or if someone puts Ali in a list of greatest boxers? Joe Montana in greatest QBs?
