Eminem was on top of the world...perfect storm for 50, Obie, D12 + Dre co-sign and G-Unit boys they will never regain that...most of us in this forum are from a certain age group that saw that era and were fans of that Shady era i can’t imagine any teenagers or young adult caring much about Shady Records today...they don’t have mass appeal as they once did and the music industry has changed from 15years ago Would Obie, d12 or even 50 be as successful today? If they came out? timing is a big key to success in any industry, including music industry... Drake is the most popular rapper today...Shady needed that type of artist to stay relevant...instead it’s more underground hip hop...true hip hop heads...but really Eminem fans are the only ones keeping Shady records alive If grip released his album without Em co-sign how many would actually listen lol even boogie dude....or Cashis dude after he was dropped lol
