Hello.

I was listening to some music today - not hip-hop at all - and I thought that some of you might enjoy hearing some french sound you're not familiar with!
I'll try to post at least one song a day, but I'll kick things off with five!

1. Thomas Fersen - Hyacinthe (2005). Nice song, plus that video is great


2. The Do - Dust It Off (2011). The Do is one of the best current indie-pop french groups. This is one of the sweetest songs they made, I'll probably post more songs of theirs later down the line


3. Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine - Les Dingues et les Paumés (1982). Thiéfaine has been here since the late 70s - he has gone from a classic rock sound with surrealist lyrics to a sweet pop-rock sound nowadays. The song is slow to start, but displays quite a unique atmosphere.


4. Beaubourg - Sur La Terre


5. Pigalle - Dans la salle du bar-tabac de la rue des martyrs (1990). Vintage french indie rock. I love it.

First vid is crazy! Dope tho! Song is pretty nice
I really dig the Fourth one with that instrumental and the rough vocals! I wanted to ask someone french tho why indila dropped one album and dipped forever lol?? And it was amazing too

I don't know, back in 2015 she said that she was working on another album but that it was probably going to take a long time before she releases it because she wanted to make sure it's done right
