You already know. I’ve listened to this every day since it dropped, many days having listened several times because it’s so d--- short (too f---ing short!). All 6 songs are amazing. I love the different sounds he is using on Elephant in the Room. But I always love how many of his songs sound like they were recorded underwater. Not sure how to describe it but I think you know what I mean.

I can’t lie though, I was a tiny bit disappointed on first listen mainly because I was really hoping for a little more pure rapping like he did on Alone/EA6. To be fair, I had no valid reason to expect this. He showcases this skill very rarely but I keep hoping for the project where he flexes just a tiny bit of his rapping skills.

But after a couple listens I found myself really loving this project haha. It’s been on repeat. The dude is 3 for 3 on releases. To say this EP got me amped up for his next full length project would be an understatement. I don’t know what it is about his music but his s--- just always hits me differently than anyone else I ever listened to. Plus my girlfriend loves his music too (musically we’re pretty different, she likes bands, I like rap and r&b), so 6lack gets a ton of airplay in my daily life.
