Now, the woman in the video is suing Bari (real name Jabari Shelton) for over $1 million, as TMZ reports. The woman, who is unnamed in the suit, says that Bari pulled bed sheets off her to expose her. When she ran into the bathroom crying, he reportedly yelled, “I'm going to f--- you, you are going to s--- my d-ck,” before throwing her naked into the hallway of the hotel. The woman also claims that Bari’s lawyer “pressured her to release a joint statement saying there was no assault.” In the wake of the initial video, Nike cut ties with A$AP Bari, with whom they had been working with on a sneaker collaboration. At the time, Bari issued a statement calling the video clip “misleading” and saying he was “disappointed in the situation as well as [himself].” Pitchfork has reached out to reps for A$AP Bari for further comment.
