Nov 17, 2019 So KRS-One dropped free mixtape/album for us and I feel like we don't even deserve it. Why the f--- nobody talks about it? The Teacha once again proved he's still one of the greatest to ever do it. Lawrence Parker rides every beat on this tape like it's nothing, effortless to be honest, whether it's boom bap, trap or EDM. "I'm that emcee that wack rappers still avoid" I was a little cynical about this album. I've seen some video with KRS in the studio spittin' some new bars and I was like alright, nothing special, but man oh man, I was so wrong. To me, it's his best project since "Never Forget" from 2013. My fav tracks: Ride, Be Original, Go Back, Street Light (his flow), Mic Check, GOD Where is that Dr. Dre produced song tho... 7.5/10 This man is Hip-Hop, but his album cover arts are so f---ing wack and corny.
