Dec 24, 2020 Has anyone watched/finished it? Absolutely loved it even though real life manga adaptations aren't usually that great. Haven't read the manga either, so I really have no clue how the story will resolve. Hyped for a second season. Synopsis: Arisu (which can roughly be translated to Alice) and his friends suddenly find themselves in a deserted Tokyo, also called 'Borderland'. There they have to partake in sadistic, deadly games in order to get their 'visas' extended. Death awaits them if their visas expire or after losing a game. An apparent Utopia called 'The Beach' might have the answers as to why they are trapped in this world and how to escape it.
