Feb 19, 2015 All Your Fault is an entertaining b-----r. The Blacker The Berry is one of the most important songs of the last 5 years. I only see one choice in that poll.
Feb 19, 2015 Theyre such different songs. Y are n----s on S80 so obsessed with comparisons. Enjoy both. But TBTB is obviously better.
Feb 19, 2015 If i was exaggerating i would say the same about i or Untitled. This is a fact. Also the thread for itself is stupid tbh why you compare a b-----r with TBTB?
Feb 19, 2015 Did you read the OP? These are easily the best two songs released within the past two months
Feb 19, 2015 Its definitely one of the best songs in the last 5 years. But I mean theres songs on GKMC that are better. Definitely not THE best but top 20? yeah
Feb 19, 2015 Jaba i am saying that is ONE of the most important SONGS, i know that is not the MOST important song d--- lmao And? The thread still doesnt make sense tbh
Feb 19, 2015 i mean. important? how is it important? \its a great topic and could be one of the most important songs but until we see anything in society change or be influenced from this song then how is it one of the most important? the thing was JUST released? holy s--- lol
Feb 19, 2015 I'm sorry for having an opinion.. But you're right, i should've mentioned two young thug songs instead!!
Feb 19, 2015 His impact is important af. The message changed the perspective of a lot of Afroamericans and also the perspective in general of white people. The s--- released and it was already TT Worlwide. He deals with racism at the same time he criticize his culture. Even some rappers said that this song was necessary.
Feb 19, 2015 "The message changed the perspective of a lot of Afroamericans" Proof? lol. Theres no evidence that it did? lmao, it was just released and it was trending because its NEW KENDRICK? Like i said the song-topic is great and it has potential but the s--- was just released and theres no proof that "The message changed the perspective of a lot of Afroamericans" or that this is going to help stop black violence or violence.
Feb 19, 2015 I am talking about the Afroamericans which heard the track, i am not saying that is was going to help to stop black violence. When the song was released i see a lot of users in social media talking about how incredible the message was. Homie is a f---ing important song, nobody ever adressed the subject matter like Kenny did. Just because it didnt change the world instantly it doesnt mean is not important.
Feb 19, 2015 where is the proof it changed any of there views on this s---? and also "nobody ever adressed the subject matter like Kenny did" there has been people whove talked about this before lol. Marvin Gaye (not a rapper but still) has called for stop to ALL violence before. Kanye has blamed black people in songs. idk lol i dont see much changes in anything from this song making it not so groundbreaking or anything. its just a song that calls out blacks. p.s. its african americans not afroamericans just so u stop looking like some dumbass
Feb 19, 2015 All Your Fault is clearly the better song The Blacker The Berry clearly has a more important message
Feb 19, 2015 Why do i need proof to clarify my point? You didnt see any tweet when the s--- was released? Social media was raw af And no, is not the same. One thing is saying "Stop ALL violence" and other thing is doing it the way Kenny did, talking about the African American culture (Sorry for saying Afroamerican but that "dumbass" comment was definitely unnecesary), real life events, stereotypes, etc. The fact that in the first 2 verses he criticize the people which wants to end the culture and that in the last one he criticize the culture and calls himself an hypocrite for his actions from the past is brillant.
