Nov 13, 2021 I’ve been pretty stressed out lately due to life circumstances. I’m craving a cig, to release that sweet sweet dopamine. BUT I’m also trying to save money and have been much healthier since the pandemic started, losing weight and trying to be somewhat more active. Cigarettes will set me back in that regard. I could vape but I tried it before and it didn’t really feel like it was for me. Too much upkeep on the equipment, not enough dopamine release and kind of pricey too. Cess is legal and cheaper here but I get too lost in my thoughts on weed. It has its benefits but it’s a bit too potent for just a quick dopamine hit. I’ve tried guided meditation in the past and I quite liked that. Running is also good but I don’t have time right now for that
Nov 14, 2021 I like reading lol but it’s hard to focus right now. At least with running, my mind can just go kind of blank I’m quite bad at sketching. Someone suggested Zyn patches and I think that was a good suggestion but I don’t think they sell them here in Canada.
Dec 2, 2021 Yoga and stretching helps a lot for relaxation. The best thing about it - you can do it at home (so absolutely free). "Yoga with Adriene" is great, this girl has awesome workouts. You can also find those nicotine patches in every single online pharmacy. For some people they work, some they that those are absolutely worthless. Anyway, probably worth to try.
Dec 2, 2021 Posting usually does it for me. You also can't go wrong with a nice warm bubble bath with organic salts. Hmu if you're down.
Jan 3, 2022 Aromatherapy should work well. Smelling something nice and clean is just good for the soul, in my opinion (but get only top quality https://volant.no/ ) . Super strong scents can have the opposite effect, and stress you out, but something that smells nice and right-up-your-alley (depending on what scents you like), can make you feel better. Certain smells can put me in a good mood, and help improve my day.
