    Im a Computer science 1st year undergrad. Worked on python. Starting C++ now.

    Any of you guys done any programming as a hobby? Very useful skill to have.

    Hope you enjoy a 20:1 gender ratio. It's comical how much the classes look like a 4Chan meet up.

    I'm thinking about starting C++ next semester too, useful language, I don't know if I'll have much time for it hough. Programming really helps you improve your analytical approach, even if you don't work with computers.

    That's true. I'm master race though. Some of these guys been coding in their moms basement since like 10.

    I took a C++ class at community college like 7 years ago, did terrible.
    Then I took HTML/CSS classes a few years later and I love it. Can't be a back-end guy I guess!
