#1 When Marty went to 1955 his mom had a crush on him and he brought his parents together, so why would they forget him altogether when he traveled back to 1985.
#2 Wouldn't the changes he made to time destroy the universe

At the end, when he comes back and sees himself hop into the DeLorean, there are two Marty’s there. Therefore, I am led to believe there is now an infinite loop of him hopping in the DeLorean and going to 1955, and coming back.

And to answer your first one, it’s not that they’ll forget him, it’s that they’ll never get together and have him as a kid, so he would disappear from the world completely

Also, in the second one, Doc Brown said if you saw your future self in person, you would either faint from shock or the entire fabric of the universe would unravel. Jennifer sees herself in the future and faints, but Old Biff and Young Biff have a full conversation and neither takes place.

Marty’s parents never realized that they had a son who looks exactly like the kid who was strangely motivated to get them together twenty years before. And they didnt forget him, because they named their son after him, cuz of when his mom says “Marty...what an interesting name” after he leaves

I also never understood why Dave went from a fast food worker in the beginning to a suit and tie at the end. It never seems like anything Marty does in 1955 is gonna change his brother at all

What about when he spills juice on the carpet at seven? Won’t his parents remember him telling them that in 1955?

On the 1985 photograph Marty had of him and his siblings, his brother and sister were gradually erasing from the photograph over a couple of days, but Marty began disappearing all at once on stage with Marvin Berry, which brings me to my next point...

Marty invents rock music in 1955. This would change the entire history of music, wouldn’t it? Also, he plays Johnny B Goode for the kids at the school dance. When the song is actually released and those kids who were present hear it, won’t some of them remember hearing the same exact song a few years earlier?

Doc Brown’s clocks were running five minutes late in the beginning, but Marty would have already been late if they were operating normally, since he came in there for his corny ‘80’s greaseball fantasy.
