Jun 6, 2016 I bought Barter 6 the day it came out, just to give this guy and his music a shot. @Narsh had been flooding the forum with young thug talk, and as annoying as I though it was, I was curious. So I bought it.. And I really liked it. Constantly hating opened the album, and I instantly loved it. With That came next, and "100 bands 100 bands" stayed in my head for days. The album was infectious, but i didn't play it daily or anything like that. It sat in my library and occasionally got played, until recently.. This album (and it is an album, it's not a mixtape) is classic. From start to finish, it's fantastic. No slime season entry tops this, I'm Up doesn't top this. Barter 6 is in a league of its own. The features are great (does TI always rap like that?) and most importantly Thug shines. The adlibs that are placed so perfectly throughout the album (Check anybody?) are plentiful and I'm still discovering new ones with each listen. Barter 6 is a blassic, and it gets better and better with each listen.
Jun 6, 2016 not for me, got a bit boring after a while. ss1 still my favorite thug solo project, but tha tour pt. 1 is still on top. lets see if hitunes can change this.
Jun 6, 2016 Yup, album gets better with each listen Because of thugs writing and delivery, the way Alex structured and mixed these tracks, and just the out there-ness of it all, it's one of those albums that feels like you're discovering soemthing new everytime you play it Legitimately one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time
