Jul 28, 2021 I'm kinda in the same boat as you honestly—I think it's a solid album with a few amazing songs but his stans vastly overrate him because he's kendrick's cousin and has drake/kanye/travis cosigns. He def has mad potential tho.
Jul 29, 2021 Based on what he's released so far yeah he's pretty good imo. I like almost everything he's dropped but none of its been groundbreaking or even justification of the overblown hype surrounding him. But by the same token I dont think he's dropped anything overtly bad either. Plenty talent and potential, but too early to say. The singles leading up to The Melodic Blue have all been great though, I'm curious to see what he does with it.
