best rick ross album?

    I always enjoy Rick Ross features but never listened to his own albums. Which albums/mixtapes should I check out?

    I'd go ahead and start off with Teflon Don. It's his magnum opus; his character reached, or better yet sounded like, a larger than life character. The production in itself is still amongst the most spectacular I've ever heard, something that's a recurring theme in his catalog obviously.

    Rich Forever is another staple, easily one of the strongest mixtapes of this decade. Every release from there on has it's ups and downs (mostly ups though), but I do urge you to still give them a chance. God Forgives, I Don't , Black Market, Mastermind and Black Market/Dollar all got a bunch of keepers and highlights.

    Yeah, Teflon Don and Rich Forever I would say are good starting points. I've always liked Mastermind as well myself.

    Personally loved every track on Mastermind and Teflon Don is great with tracks like MC Hammer, honestly prefer Black Dollar mixtape over Rich Forever

    Teflon Don is his best album, Rich Forever might be his best project. God Forgives, I Don't and Mastermind both dope. I've also always really enjoyed the first MMG collab album, Self Made, Vol. 1. Pretty sure thats how I got on to Meek.

    Teflon Don. All the others are kinda average. But I can say almost each one of them has some gems on them.
