This lockdown has got me dreaming even more so of what I want to do experience in my life when we are allowed out the house again.

A lot of mine is travel based. For example, my retirement goal is for me and the Mrs to go on a round-the-world cruise.

I also want to see Machu Pichu, Alaska and Svalbard.

Possibly drive across America, especially the entirety of Route 66.

A good goal would also say that I've seen all 7 Wonders of the World. I've seen 2 so far.

    What's on your bucket list?

    - Visit Philadelphia because of "Rocky" movie, I always wanted to run up these stairs, go to the Mickey gym, see the Rocky statue etc. etc.
    - Visit NY because it's the birthplace of Hip-Hop
    - Visit Australia, because it's so beautiful
    - Visit Japan, I love asian culture

Road trips in the USA are amazing.

You should also consider doing I-90, which runs in the north from Seattle all the way to Boston. It'll make you truly grasp just how large the country is, and eastern Washington through the end of Montana is stunning (just ask @joeyp363). The one downside to I-90 is you have to drive through all of South Dakota and all of Ohio which are garbage lol.

But no matter what you're gonna hit some stretches of nothing if you go east/west. Route 66 is a good choice too but you're also gonna have to drive through west oklahoma and west texas, the latter of which is the most boring stretch of highway and it's never f---ing ending. If you ever do route 66 I'd also recommend detouring down into arkansas through the Ozarks, it's serene. Oh and from Flagstaff, AZ driving up to Vegas and going through Death Valley and Sequoia National Forest.

Didn't mean for this to get so long but I love road trips and you got me reminiscing lol

And on a similar note, one of my bucket list items was to hit all 50 states (or at least all 48 contiguous states) before I turn 30. I'm only missing Kentucky, Delaware, the Carolinas, Maine, and Alaska. Not sure how things are gonna go with the virus this year however, but I have a route planned out that I'm gonna take from ATL up to Maine and then looping down back around if I get the chance.

I'll come back to you when I finally do this! How long would you recommend a full coast to coast trip should take? And where to stop and how long for? I've done road trips through Europe the last couple of years but even only driving for 3 hours a day and staying in a different hotel each night for 4nts absolutely shattered me. It doesn't help that the Mrs doesn't drive so everything is on me.
