    Idk i thing i lack alot of social skills that i didnt realised i needed. I dont really talk that much and most of the time i am more concerned with gaming and music than the people around me. I dont want to start convos because i am pretty bad at it and the topics that i am interested general people dont really care for. I really hate casual convos about weather or politics. I just want to talk about Kanye or Everyday Struggle etc. Like no one is a Hip Hop hypebeast around me. Forums are cool but i really wanna be able to have some people around me irl.

    Some girls like hip hop so try to find a girl who likes hip hop.

    Go to like a vacation and start acting all extroverted and smile to people and stuff. That way if you embarrass yourself, you'll be back to your home anyway. But of course you could start acting decisively different back home, but it's kinda weird if all of a sudden you do that. But I mean girls don't ever make the initiative, so try to like just smile and say 'hi' and open up a convo by talking about music or like whatever. idk what I'm saying, I mean I can kinda relate to OP tbh.

    Until you understand what the benefits are to YOURSELF you'll never be able to focus on the why or the how.

    Instead of thinking about how to do it think about the result of doing what you want and then that may give you a higher desire to take yourself out of your comfort zone.

    Lately i've been struggling with a same kinda thing tbh, until i realized not being very social is completely fine
    That doesn't mean you shouldn't challenge yourself and find new interests and experiences, but i'm trying to say that you should find a way to think about the way you are as strength, not weakness
    If you really think you lack some very essential social skills, i guess you could try to like take a course where you can better them with other people like you
