Jan 17, 2016 Super Smash Bros Melee turns 15 years old this year, and it's more popular than it has ever been. Everyone remembers playing Melee with friends when they were younger, but have you ever been exposed to the competitive world of Melee? Melee is widely accepted as one of the deepest fighting games ever, and some consider it to be the deepest competitive game to ever be made. This video sums it up very well. With Melee's age, comes a rich history of rivalries and advancements in game play. From the MLG era where Ken ran the country, to the now ending, era of the gods. If you're really interested in Melee, and got time to watch a 4 hour documentary to learn the history of the game, here you go. If you're already aware of the scene, here's a place to talk about Melee. (Btw Melee Top 8 at Genesis 3 is coming up soon)

Jan 19, 2016 Please tell me I'm not the only one that possesses the ability to play this flawlessly after months, maybe even a year of not playing. You hand me a GameCube controller & I start playing like I never stopped.
Jan 23, 2016 okay so this thread caused me to impulse buy smash bros on the 3ds @Perry The Platypus give me time to get used to the controls... i find myself tripping out because of muscle memory and i hit the wrong buttons even though the control layout is practically the same as the gamecube there is no way to hook a gamecube controller up to my 3ds is there? lol it feels wrong to be playing smash... without the same controller i've used for years
