Thankfully, however, that may be changing sooner rather than later: Daft Punk is apparently hard at work on new music alongside The Weeknd. As YourEDM points out, Republic Records Executive VP and head of urban A&R, Wendy Goldstein, confirmed the rumors in a “hitmakers roundtable” hosted by Billboard last month. Said Goldstein when asked who she would work with if she could work with any artist or songwriter: And, as if that weren’t enough, The Weeknd himself posted this on Instagram a couple of weeks back: Stay tuned to see what exactly the trio has cooked up.
