Jul 20, 2017 We all know that Paul Rosenberg takes a lot of the decisions when it comes to Eminem's career. One of the things that made me realize how little decision making Eminem does was that part on the 60 minutes documentary where he admitted calling his manager asking him if could afford to buy a watch. Maybe i'm too poor to have someone manage my finances, but a watch? When you have already earned millions? It always seemed to me like Paul was the one in charge. EM never seemed like the type to handle the pressure and responsibility of making his own career decisions. Paul almost looks like a babysitter more than a manager. I was suprised when i learned he actually was the manager of other artists besides Eminem. Anyway, with that being said, What do y'all think about it it? Do you think Paul has ever taken advantage of the situation? Like take a couple millions without Eminem knowing? I know i would probably have lol.

Jul 20, 2017 Maybe not screwed him directly like stealing, but he's definitely money hungry. Someone said in another thread (I think M Solo) Paul is pushing to promote this next album alongside COD rather than an Apple exclusive at Dre/Jimmy's request. So I actually wouldn't be surprised. What concerns me is Paul being the gatekeeper for all the beats sent to them. Essentially Eminem only hears beats Paul chooses unless he's working with Dre, Resto, Porter or inhouse producers. And I'm sure he has a huge say in who he does/doesn't collab with.

Jul 20, 2017 I think they legit confirmed that Paul chooses the beats Eminem hears that they receive in an interview within the past couple years. I mean it makes sense because I'm sure they get sent a bunch of s---, but I don't really trust Paul's ear. And he's likely looking for potential stadium hits.

Jul 20, 2017 Yeah, Busta Rhymes said he was trying to send a beat to Em but he couldn't do it directly - he had to send it to Paul who I guess passed it on to Em, might've been Calm Down idr. Paul also said on sway that the beats get sent to him and he turns away the ones he "doesn't think Em will rap over" he pre-approves them to make sure they're "appropriate" before passing them on. f---ing creepy.
