Does anyone else have a messed up back and still deadlift

    Idk if I’m just an idiot or what but my back has been messed up for years and yet everytime back day comes around at the gym I feel the need to try deadlifts lol

    I pinched two nerves in my back from heavy lifting when I used to work in food business and could barely stand at times. Since then I've lost weight and even would work out including deadlifts granted I could only do say 125/130 pounds maybe but I would say take it slowly. I did two set 10 reps each time.starting with 50 pds and worked up.

    I fractured one of my lower vertebrae in high school and worked myself back up to 225 and tried 315 yesterday for the first time in a long time and I almost collapsed to the floor in pain lol
