Jun 25, 2015 "Sprite and The FADER have joined forces for a new documentary series titled Obey Your Thirst, in which they will be sitting down with the likes of Nas, Vince Staples, Isaiah Rashad, and here, Drake. Drake begins by discussing the art of rapping, then disclosing that his father told him in order to make it, he needed to both sing and rap. Drizzy also speaks against the notion that musicians and artists must move to places like New York to get noticed. He, along with others like The Weeknd and PARTYNEXTDOOR, did it from their native Toronto, as he encourages others to do so. In reference to his competition in hip-hop, Aubrey confidently noted, “I’m not worried about these other rappers, I’m not competing with those guys. I already know their hand, I know their move. I study everything. I’m worried about the kid that’s sitting in his house that wants to be better than me and all those guys. That’s who I’m competing with.” To see and hear all of this and more, press play on the first installment ofObey Your Thirst above. Be sure to stay tuned for additional episodes."
